It is true that I try hard. I don't think it is possible to animate without trying hard. I don't
know why people use that as an insult - lethargy and laze are much worse vices in my opinion.
Why the edge? Well as I said, I come from a background of chaotic degeneracy. The "edge" is all I
know. And I've been pushing the limits with the vulgarity of my cartoons years before the word
edgy was even a thing.
Reality is fucked up, edgier than most want to comprehend. My cartoons are a way of portraying
the disturbing reality around me, the only one I've known.
Looking back at my work through the lens of redundant, overdone, edgy internet culture, I can
totally see how one could see it as hurrdurr pewdiepie bullshit.
I guarantee you though that these toons came naturally, and I like to think there is soul behind
the 'shock value.'

Granted, I purposefully project a public image of insanity, but I am not even sure myself where
the act begins and ends.
Haven't been diagnosed, would love to go to therapy, but don't have the resources and also don't
trust the mental health scene in general. Lots of drug pushers. The animation has always been my
form of therapy, and it's another reason why I put all of those 'edgy' themes into it.
I can't be too mentally ill. I've held down a stable steady job for over 7 years, I'm completely
self sufficient, pay dem beeels, and maintain healthy friendships with people in real life.
That being said, I know there are still high functioning schizophrenics, autistics, and other
deranged individuals.

precious brain.
As far as poor choices go though, I don't think I've made too many bad ones thus far, seeing as
how I'm employed at a job I love that allows me time to animate, pay muh beeeels, and dont have

this decreped city.
I'm sure I would benefit from professional help though, and I agree it is important to buckle

That's fine man. I would like you to know that the bulk of my work was done with a ball mouse
during my teenage years in CS4. Only recently did I get a decent tablet and I just learned After
Effects, which is making my quality of work improve immensely (I wish I could post some
screenshots here of my current work).
Whatever the case, I don't plan to stop any time soon, for it is the only thing that I'm truly
passionate about in this world. Thankfully, animation doesn't have a peak, and I can keep
improving until I die.

Well automatically taking that statement as being bad is not something I would nessasarily do.
Kind of depends on how you define insanity.
Some people have really strong imaginations and can have eccentric behavior.
This is common in high IQ individuals.
And while they may lack the stability and "normalness" of other folks it doesn't mean they need
to be fixed.
What matters is if that eccentricity effects their ability to create a successful life and a
happy life for themselves.
Long as it doesn't prevent that (or better yet if it contributes to that) then it can be a good
thing.
