A company named Valve put an anti-cheat system in all their games named the "Valve Anti-cheat
System"(VAC). A VAC wave is an occurrence in which many players who have played a specific game
from Valve get VAC banned. In this case, a cheat named "Lmaobox", used the in the video game
"Team Fortress 2"(a game created by Valve), became fully detectable causing a bunch of players
using that cheat to get banned. This is called a "VAC Wave" because an incredibly large amount of
players got banned over a small period of time, like a very large wave(tsunami) could kill a
bunch of people on a beach in a very short time.

To add, it's that good because the cheat used to advertise itself as "VAC undetectable" and the
kids running it were so fucking smug, and it happened completely by suprise, no one was expecting
it at that point.
