I bet your problem though is that you're using an .mp3 and not a .wav as the source audio, and you're further ignoring Flash's default publish settings which want to recode shit for you. Protip: MP3 is a compressed format with SHIT IN THE ENDS. There will always be a blank buffer zone before and after the data stream, which is why an .mp3 cannot be looped seamlessly without special hardware, or a severe hacking in a hex editor. WAV has no such bullshit, and can be preserved in its raw form as a Flash resource in your project's Library. Vegas is wonderful, and my go-to tool of choice for many things, but I wouldn't recommend editing audio in it unless you are very well versed in studio editing principles, and have a hand-in-the-panties relationship with Sony DAW and DVW. The tool has way too many tripping points for casual editing. Soundforge, or even Audition would be a better choice for building your cuts. and Audition integrates with Flash (and all the other apps in the suite.) No more freebies today. Hit up Google for how to not fuck up objects on your timeline in Fl. Happy Flashing, /f/aggot :)
