Hiro said this should happen until there is some sort of consensus on what would make it better

Previous 1st thread: http://archive.4plebs.org/f/thread/3149760
Issues discussed previously
Captcha bug: For people with slower Internet they can't post flashes over a certain limit because
the verification times out on them. This should be fixed, you can write something in
https://www.4chan.org/feedback if you wish. If enough people write something it will get fixed.
Previous fixes due to the feedback page are swfchan no longer on the spam filter and filesize
limit was lowered on accident.
Some people wanted a rules change so that any mods that come won't unfairly delete threads / do
bad moderation based upon the current and outdated rules.
Others want the filesize increased so that larger swf, be they animations, games or other can be
posted. Some are worried that this would encourage too many more youtuberips.
[M] tag: some people want this and in the past have posted with [M] in the subject line since
it's not a valid tag. One guy said that the addition might encourage people posting swfs with a
static/no-image and only music as if that was commonplace here, which it isn't, [L] is more
common.
My suggestion was adding a sorting option based upon the column headers.
Another one was adding more possible OP flashes.
A few people wanted a longer cooldown on flashes, instead of the current 24 hour one.

>sorting option based upon the column headers
Really good idea actually

>48 hours cooldown on flashes
>[m] tag
>tripcodes no longer allowed
Who agrees?
Btw the only positive side I see on >10mb file size limit is for thursgay flashes. Other than
that, while I believe people support this of good reasons, it would only encourage shitty youtube
rips.

>sorting option based upon the column headers
what does that mean?
>> [_] Anonymous 09/17/16(Sat)20:17:05 No.3149973
Got one very good idea.
>there are 5 thread which are the next five to be deleted(already is)
>the other last 5 before the actual five are stored but not linked anywhere on /f/ so you don't
suffer with random 404s when lurking
>if you reply to them they won't be bumped or anything like that

That's because you've been in the limit of /f/ check out http://eye.swfchan.com/search/?min=20&m

>>3149970
I'd say that tripcodes should stay, while some people do misuse them they can be ignored. If we
remove them it would me difficult for people like Zone to prove their identity, if they ever did
post here again.
I'm wary about the [M] tag due to some of those reasons listed in the previous thread.
>>3149971
Default on the main /f/ page is bump order.
I want it to work as follows:
Clicking on a header sorts by what it contains, clicking again does reverse.
So clicking on the File header would sort in alphabetical order and then again would sort in
reverse alphabetical.
Blank headers default to bump and reverse-bump orders.

So you want the archive that other boards have (such as http://boards.4chan.org/qa/archive) but
limited to 5 threads?
>> [_] Anonymous 09/17/16(Sat)20:30:33 No.3149988
>>3149980
Yes, so we don't have to go on 4plebs and look up the flash that we got 404'd.
Also,
>That's because you've been in the limit of /f/ check out http://eye.swfchan.com/search/?min=20&m
ax=10&xcats=irlvideo+flvclip
I can assure you that the /f/ userbase isn't that good.

There is FAR too much youtube on this board. Filesize limit should be drastically reduced.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/17/16(Sat)21:11:33 No.3150015
>>3150009
nah. 10mb is good. any lower and a ton of proper good flashes would be unusable.

>>3149992
What is the sense in that? That's a liberal tier ""argument"". People who are against 10mb+
flashes haven't seen bad flashes over 10mb too. Genius.

Okay mr./pol/ they are pointing out the possible bad flashes over 10mb, and have only provided
youtuberips as their argument against the change.
>>3150027
The changes don't really get rid of anything fantastic about the board. One even fixes a bug for
people with slow Internet. Anything specific that you didn't like?

How about just ban .swf which not contain interactive actual actionscript or contain only simple
video player inside?
Most radical ban everything which not made in vector.
