I hate how most of the games that get posted on /f/ are Japanese.
Japanese are the worst game developers in existence, in all facets.
Fucking Africans are better game developers than Japanese.

This episode of "Why Japanese are fucking retarded at game development:"
  >slow-paced trial and error based game
  >one of the laziest graphics styles in existence
  >how is this even meant to be fun, at least GROW games allowed the player to analyse mistakes in
much greater depth with the level system so that logic allowed the game to be beaten in
  reasonable time

Basically, just don't post anything but truly amazing Japanese games, even the shittiest western
flash games I've seen are more fun than most Japanese stuff.

So...you want to play Elsa Pregnant Check-Up game?

Anon you completely missed the point with games made by japanese developers
They're not meant to be fun
  They're meant to be challenging
  and fucking boring
It's that kind of game where you have to guess what developers had in mind and that's why I don't
bother playing again after the first failure
  it's just not worth it

What games have Africans developed? Genuinely curious.

  grand theft auto

original translation makes more sense but
  >who do I choose to fight these guys
  >striker looks tough, lets role
  >who is going to hold up the roof
  >fighter(knight/tank) is tall and bulky
  >who can jump and grab items
  >thief can jump and grab items, he's probably nimble or fast
  >who can run quickly through acid and hit the lever
  >thief is dead so it might as well be the ninja
  >everyone's low hp
  >use bishop to heal, I've played a RPG in my life
  >that's a big spell
  >answer with mage of our own
sure enough, he bounces it and cancels the next, wizard duel style
  >brave (hero) seems important
  >send samurai first, die for honor and his liege, etc
  >it's the last choice
  >choose last choice
There is minimal trial and error if you aren't fucking dumb, it's a pretty easy puzzle game.
the only ones I found even remotely difficult was whether samurai, fighter, striker was first guy
and whether ninja or thief was second guy, from there it's self explanatory
  two retries, boo hoo

戦士 meaning 'warrior'/'soldier' more than fighter: common tank role in many rpgs: 'Swordsman'

魔法使い is 'wizard' but also Sorcerer, which fits his role better.

勇者 is 'brave', but 'brave one' is more accurate. It is used in Japanese to refer to a heroic
individual in many rpgs: 'Hero'. He's the party leader and 'strongest'.

闘家 is part of the Brawler's title, but I don't know what the first Kanji is. This implies
'martial artist' more than 'striker', being basically 'Dojo'.

賢者 is 'wise man', or Sage. This is borrowing more heavily on Chinese than the rest of the titles,
but it's also an class in early Dragon Quest games (continued trend).

Thief is robber, Ninja is ninja, Samurai is samurai. These are clear. However, the above 5 give
  context.
Of course you'd send your DPS martial artist out to kill the baddie guards, not your tank.
A robber to grab an item? Sure!
Of course you'd use your soldier as meat to get your men out of the grinder.
Never sacrifice the hero, have your sage cast Multiheal, and use sorcery on sorcery.

This is still a poor excuse if you had trouble with the game, though.

I sent my fighter out to kill the guards and my striker to hold up the roof and it worked?

>> [_] Anonymous 11/23/16(Wed)15:22:21 No.3180881

  >>3180872
well yeah, some of them are interchangeable i would assume, but for instance, i used the samurai
first and then when it came time for the ninja's sacrifice, I can still flip the switch but it
wont allow me to pass. As if the coders intention was to prevent the samurai from dying first or
  something stupid like that

  same. I think it's a bug.
