retro imitators never care about those things. i havent seen a single game that claims to be
retro actually staying true to the classic limitations.
pixel graphics are common but they can always move smoothly over the screen as they wish.
resolutions are always too high, the sound uses too many channels at the same time (when bit
music is used), sfx doesn't mute part of the music due to channel limitations, they use too many
colors on screen at the same time, too many sprites can be updated at the same time on each row
in the graphics etc
pixel graphics are just an art style now, they never impose actual limits on their game (or flash
in this case)
