make life easier on yourself, dress teh components in an editor like Sony Vegas first, makes it
piece of cake to tweak audio/video rates, cutting audioloop, etc.
Also, you can export a perfectly cut a/v loop, and >FLV with Adobe Media Encoder to embed in the
swf for drift-free results.

fuck, I have no idea why its not synced, the local file is perfect, I had set the frame rate to
25.20

could the browser be changing the gif's fps? I've done flash loops with weird frame rates before
and had no problem

it's synced for about 8 bars if it's any consolation. I know from making a lot of mashups myself
that audio syncing is really complex and Ableton doesn't just find two BPMs that match for the
files, it's constantly changing the BPM based on the waveforms to keep them synced. While I think
you could use math to just determine the perfect framerate for the video to match the audio,
because of processing it's just not ideal.

I checked swfchan and it says the fps is 25 so i'm guessing it just doesn't do decimals, ill see
if its possible to make it right by altering bpm, ps sorry /f/ about spamming this dumb loop

you need to make a preloader so everything get's loaded and start at the same time
and also if you do that I could just right click play to stop the timeline and mess it up

since the audio starts on the first frame I beleive the start time shouldn't be able to get
fucked up too easily

I guess you've never experienced loops when the whole audio loads first and the video loads
picture by picture fucking up the sync in the process

sorry anon, Flash is very wonky even for all its bells and whistles, doing it the way you are is
a serious PIA sometimes...
would love to discuss it in detail, but I'm off to work at this moment - check back in about 8
hours if this is still here, or check the thread in 4plebs for ghost post
or maybe we can do a flash seminar here later tonight on another thread :^)

What the other anon said about making the video in sony vegas or premiere or something and
exporting it as an FLV and then just having the video play on frame 1 would probably work too.
That way you can assure that the audio and video will be synced for as long as you can have the
video be before it's too large for /f/. The issue with this method is the quality will
potentially go down, and getting it synced for a really long time on a video timeline could be
really tedious, BUT at least corrections can be made manually along the way.
Third option is to 5x your frames and use 126 fps (if possible in flash) to emulate the current
flash at 25.2 fps.
I don't think anyone really cares that much here. Audio loops have desynced here for 10 years.

brought the bpm up 5 and the fps up 1 and it stays synced pretty well for just about one loop,
thinking this might be good enough for me. I'll re-upload later
As for using video format, I would be open to it for synced stuff in the future but I really
don't want too much of that awful flash artifacting
>>3193310
Fl wont do 126, for some reason it just rounds to 120
