Here's how fix flash for those having problems
>In the address bar, type chrome:plugins to open the Plug-ins page
>On the Plug-ins screen that appears, find the Adobe Flash Player listing. Check the status
(Enabled or Disabled)
>Click Enable
>Select Always allowed to run to always allow Flash Player to run
>Close the Plug-ins screen
Flash unrelated
Marked for deletion (old).

For some reason, that didn't work for me, as the plugin didn't seem to be the problem.
I did this:
Go to Chrome settings > Show Advanced Settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Flash > Allow Sites
to Run Flash.
