It's not that it's underappreciated, it's that ffx-2 barely holds a candle to FFX. The production
was an attempt to cash in on the last truly excellent story in a final fantasy game. I enjoyed
playing X-2, and there was some decent music, don't get me wrong, but comparatively the story is
incredibly weak, it does not compare to X

It's a different kind of story to be fair. I also think that X had a better story, but it was out
to accomplish different things.
Of course we all agree that XII is the best all around FF game. Number one gameplay, best
characters, best world, best art direction and a good main story.
