Opinions on Harmony of Dissonance? It's one of the only Castlevania games I haven't played. A lot
of reviews shit on it, but I like the music.

When it came out on the GBA, it had amazing graphics and awesome boss fights. The gameplay and
story felt strange and didn't have the good feel of Circle of the Moon, but the graphics and
music were so great that 13-year-old-me was highly entertained. The multiple endings and
multitude of secrets kept me exploring the castle long after I beat the game, but I have never
achieved the 100% exploration and collection... Too hard to find it all. You unlock a boss rush
after beating the game, which is nice since the bosses are possibly the best thing the game has
to offer.

Thanks man, I'll check it out. Circle of the Moon didn't jive with me. At the time (15) I thought
it was boring. :< All the reviews of Harmony of Dissonance was constant complaining so I didn't
even know the music and bosses were good.

Circle of the Moon is a real labyrinth and requires a whole lot of grinding to collect the DSS
Cards AND level up. It's definitely not like the original Castlevania games, but it was a launch
title for the GBA so it was a experiment both in terms of gameplay and engine.
