So... Luftrausers clone?
I still have to give props to you though, this is really nicely put together. Love the menu
screen and the palette, music is good too.
Suggestions for changes: A target reticle and more inertia so you don't drop like a brick. The
ship is so tiny that you can't see where it's aiming, unless you use the sniper on the starting
ship. A small indicator of where you're aiming would be helpful. Turn speed could use some work
too, I think. It's really hard to aim because you turn so fast.

Not like the turn speed matters, you can't even hit them unless you do a complete 180 and turn
back instantly, and even then you barely knocked down a few. It sometimes feels as though the
shotgun does jack shit.

Your turning is slower for the first half second or so as you press the button to allow for more
precision adjustments.
As for the targeting reticle, it only seemed to be an issue with firing at planes, and because
planes track you relatively close to 180 degrees behind you, we found that of the 3 planes the
only weapon that sorely needed it was the sniper because of how thin it was. On the keener your
180 degree quickturn lines you up nicely, and missing a couple shots if you are trying
traditional methods of turning to fire isn't a big deal because they come out so fast. The
Vandal's sawblade is kind of aiming independent because of the way it works.
Taking those things into consideration, we decided to keep it a Sniper specific thing, both
because of the needs of that weapon and because it's the first plane people play, so playing it
will hopefully acclimate them to their positioning after a short while.
I know turn speed seems fast but we prioritized the experience for the player who is more used to
the controls with the thinking that a new player will eventually come to appreciate the speed for
the maneuverability it provides.
Still, with stuff like this, it's tough to make a decision that covers all the bases, so it's
possible that some of that thinking isn't representative of how it feels from a player
perspective.

If this is a way for the group of people to practice making a game or even sharpen their skills
at working on a project, that's great! I would go for something more original next time if you
want to make a game/project you intend on selling, since this one looks like a reskinned
Luftrausers.

doing nothing. At the beginning I had the same reservations, but I've learned so much and I
realize now that having a clear definite view of what to shoot for was the thing that even made
this project get finished. There's a reason we shoutout the Luftrausers crew by name in the
credits. Without that framework for the idea, we would have nothing, but now that we have the
skills and practice and a basic understanding of how this stuff works, we can form our own
reasonable framework.

As someone who's never played Luftrausers, I thought this game was great. Very crisp, simple

(but yeah, the third plane is way stronger than the first two, and the secret one is interresting

first flaw is that it takes forever to fucking start the game while in the original you'd just
start the flash and almost immediately start playing
second flaw is that steering doesn't feel as good and it's not as satisfying to stop flying and
start flying again

Entertaining. Looks nice.
The steering is VERY ROUGH. I think if you want to focus on anything, it should be that. At the
moment, this is nearly unplayable due to the rotation speed when turning.
