I think he was just tired as fuck and wanted to get out of there and rest. You can see all the
sweat on his head when he took the helmet off, and it probably took several hours to actually
nail the trick, so he was pretty done by the end.

i don't think he's been terribly relevant in a while. he tried bringing back the tony hawk
franchise but it kept failing. and skateboarding has fallen back to being niche again.
