Steven is voiced by Zach Callison, who started voicing him in 2013, at the age of 15. The voice
in the first few seasons was probably his standard voice, and then puberty happened, so he had to
adjust to try to use an assumed voice, which lead to adjustments, and this is probably what he
can manage with his adult voice.
