Cube is a great film
Hypercube was cheesy but ok.
Cube Zero was a terrible prequel that ruined the mystery.

Cube is excellent. Nearly perfect.
Hypercube is both better and worse than Cube. Good = Concept, mystery, mindfuck.
Bad = Acting, lines, CGI
Its a movie that deserves a remake
Cube Zero was literal garbage. I think it would be better if I never watched it.

I never realized this earlier, but damn, the sounds for those cube doors are really bad. I mean
embarassing amateur production bad. Unremixed and overused stock sound assets that don't fit the
physical action at all.
>> [_] Anonymous 05/10/17(Wed)05:11:12 No.3242991
Those cube doors are also on slide tracks.
That's not motorized so there isn't actually a way for the doors to close themselves
automatically.

Nothing about that terrible ending? Cube had such a great end to it all.

Hey guys I'm just a curious newfag who's trying to learn the proper way to sauce things: are you
supposed to use swfchan .net .com or .org?

I'm using .com since the flashes shows up on the main page as they're posted mainly here so you
don't need to write down the filename

Yep. This movie would have been nothing if it weren't for the excellent concept and script.
>>3242991
As an engineer I've always noticed this problem in the movie. But as I usually do, I ignore them
and assume it works because I just want to try to enjoy the movie. Still it does irk me a little.
>>3242998
The hypercube ending is both good and bad. It's bad because "government" or some bullshit. Also,
why did she just come out of a random pool of water? wtf?
Good because it does appear that diving by zero creates a doorway out of that hell they were in?
It's something I've struggled to make sense of.
>>3243004
When Cube zero went there and said that, not only did I roll my eyes, even the script writers did
too because it was promptly followed by "uh, well they just told me to say that *shrug*".
Everything was so bad about that movie, but that was probably one of the top 3 moments.

they're not supposed to survive the rooms if they have traps in them
it's just luck to not enter a trapped room or, as it's later discovered, the rooms are labeled
with numbers which indicates what rooms have traps and what don't

Could be magnetic, but again the original cube was supposed to be Kafka inspired so the slide
panels closing themselves was meant to be weird.
>>3243011
>Why did she come out of a random pool of water
Because the hypercube was a 4th dimensional object and a mysterious black pool of water was
probably one of the few ways they could think of portraying and entrance and exit into the thing.

Some traps are blatantly designed to have a chance to survive. All the motion sensing and sound
sensing traps are designed so they can learn about their existence and avoid them, the other
senses such humidity are designed to shake up the rules.

.com is for flashes
it's easiest to look for the filename there and just switch to .net via the [wiki] page because
.net is for threads
a thread needs to be assigned to a flash, otherwise it wouldn't be archived (discussion boards,
etc.)
finally
.org is for MAYMAYs
just kidding, it's an upload board, like /f/, made to post flashes directly into the archive
without having to wait for Hiroshima-kun to fix the fucking flash board.

Ha, I've noticed it too. Same thing with that grate.
But they could've been cardboard and I wouldn't mind though. Cube always gave me that amateurish
feel of a SF novel in which the actual SF elements are just some glued and taped together props
necessary only to push the story in some otherwise difficult to imagine direction.
