Is there any hope for flash to be relevant in the future?
Everyone is jumping to HTML5 or Unity for interactivity and animations are just rendering to
video.

Still a few advantages. LZMA will produce smaller filesizes reliably, given the time, and Flash
can be served more cleanly as a "full package" for the sort of single-serving purposes /f/ and
other sites like it want. Things like that add to the longevity.

Make some. God knows I have, even if only a third are hits.
Some of the most well-loved flashes were executed in such a manner that a 3-year-old could have
picked up CS3 and done the job.

Flash IS going to go away, Adobe makes no bones about their effort to bury the body, dead or
alive. Flash is still kicking violently, but there's already a heap of earth on it, and only a
matter of time before it joins Jimmy Hoffa in the abyss.
