I would've switched over already but too much of the software I use is Windows only. >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)06:08:49 No.3233135 allways groove to this tanks anon >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)07:51:33 No.3233148 >>3233086 >>3233121 I recently made the switch feels good man probably hardest part of switching is software, but often there's an alternative, and sometimes it'll just work in wine with no issue >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)07:56:34 No.3233149 >>3233086 always bums me out a bit. i had a lot of respect for microsoft up to windows 10. sure windows 8 was bad and they started the whole trend to charged money to play online on console (and named their third xbox fucking number one) but they would bounce back with their next windows for sure. i never really got the hate for microsoft. dunno what ill do once windows 7 becomes too old to use, i hope it just wont happen >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)11:04:34 No.3233165 >>3233121 >>3233148 I made the switch years ago. The trick is (or, rather, was) to install both Windows and Linux (Linux as main, Windows for campatibility. Games mostly.) and then switch between the two using the GRUB boot loader. Feels good man, Linux for life. Take it from a pro. >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)11:05:42 No.3233167 >>3233165 kinda hard to do with the whole secure boot thing, but BIOS can get around that (or just stick with Win7, cuz 10 sux) >> [_] Anonymous 04/10/17(Mon)14:17:45 No.3233196 >>3233086 >tfw wasn't there in the glorious early evolution of home computing Feels bad man..
