Do you use LMMS or FLStudio? Or something else entirely?
Thinking of getting into simple music production as a hobby, and LMMS is obnoxious to work with,
but don't wanna shell out $99.99 dollarydoos for something that's free elsewhere.

ADSR has great tutorial resources, have you checked it out? Maschine is crazy stuff, as are
Kontakt and Massive and all the others. Not intuitive tools, unless you're an aging Moog engineer.

Luckily most DAW have samplers with adjustable dither and cross built into it so you can trigger
it that way instead of re cutting it over and over.

I take samples from cognitive behavioral therapy videos pretty frequently. I finished most of a
psychology degree during which we watched a lot of videos like the one sampled. I took the
classes as GPA padding but they got pretty interesting beyond the intro courses. Still think it's
mostly fluff and nonsense.

I just like doing something kinda creative now and then. Most of my day to day work is very
boring. Rare cases are just that...rare and as interesting as the work is, most of the time I'm
just confirming findings.
I can play hot cross buns on piano and touch my tounge to my elbow
I tried bass and it never took beyond basic chugging rhythms.

It's a mix of pre keyed stems and cuts along with a few accents played with some plugins (NI
massive and Sakura).
The "chop" is done via grossbeat the gating plugin that comes with FL studio.
