WEELLLLLL, the last time it was everyone bitching at OP so I think they'll be fine. Mostly.

that was actually more of a sensible argument then I was expecting. I was thinking it was going
to be a sexist rant but instead focus on bad movie making.

>I'm going to use one bad movie that no one's even heard of as an example of why there should be
no action movies with female leads ever.
Because everything Jason Borne does is completely realistic and within the laws of physics.

This. It can be done, obviously, if the movie is good. There are martial arts where personal
strength just isn't as important as skill and reflexes, and if the choreographers looked at that
stuff then absolutely there could be a realistic action movie with a female lead. However, most
of the female led action movies that have been released have been shit like that movie the guy in
the OP was talking about, which lets people assume that such a thing is impossible.

As if every action movie with a male lead is somehow realistic
Cherrypicking a shit example doesn't give you a good argument. I'm sure there are plenty of
movies with realistic action scenes that have a female lead, just as there are ones with male
leads. And choosing John Wick is a bad comparison, he had a fucking jacket that stopped every
bullet shot at him. Also in the first one, there was a scene where Dafoe kills two armed guys
alot bigger than him and you can see how the actors have to move because Dafoe didnt have the
strength to push him around as it was portrayed in the movie. The guys a cunt.

cool, he is saying the things im thinking but is too afraid to say myself
though he gives wonder woman a pass due to being super-natural, sure but i just cant get past
those thin arms that normal women have myself. looks too ridiculous
i mean do we really want guys to grow up thinking that they better go all out on women since they
are just as strong?
and at the same time do we want women to grow up bossy and bitchy with an attitude that might
land them a punch in the face? you can't take on a man sweetheart, it's just nature.
we aren't doing anyone and favors by pretending women are stronger than they are

I think the real problem here is that you think kids watch these movies and when they grow up
they think it's all real and possible.
Uh, no.
Sure there are some really suggestible people out there, but the majority of women aren't going
to act like badass asskickers because that's what women were like in the stuff they watched as
little girls.
It's fiction. They know that. It's not about favors, it's about entertainment.

it doesn't start at these movies and many aren't very old when they start watching them anyway.
many cartoons have women/girls in them that arent exactly feminine in their behaviour (though
still look like sticks for some reason, go figure)
little girls already have the pressure to look good on them, we dont need to tell them they have
to compete with men too and dont have kids on their own before 30. there's so many women today
that just arent capable of landing a permanent man... depressing to think about
