sounds like bullshit, unless they knew about it beforehand there wouldn't have been time to evac
any people (which i dont think they did) and if they really did have everything in order to
protect lives, meaning shooting the thing down if evacuation wasn't an option, they would have in
fact shot it down when it flew over. but they didnt. missiles are fast suckers, no way you'll
just chill and watch it fly over you if you have the means to laser it down.

Sure, they were tracing it and if it had gone astray from its original course they would have
blown it up with they're rockets.
Of course they're lying just to calm the general public and not causing a major panic attack like
