[_] Hey, /f/. I need help. Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)02:40:22 No.3271491

I need to find the flash, if it exists, that includes the same character in this flash but he's
swaying his head side to side to a fairly chill beat. My endgame is too find that flash's music
but this is a step in that direction.

Well I'll tell ya straight off some info about the character. I'll help you search after i post
  this though.
  Ed "Radical Edward"
  Cowboy Bebop

Are you thinking of noworries.swf? That scene looks similar to what you described.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)02:52:50 No.3271499

oh wait it's not similar to what you said, never mind

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)02:57:47 No.3271500

Yeah, it's like loop with music like this and that one. But you have the guy from Bebop Blues.swf
looking over at Ed while he swings his head side to side.

  I appreciate it.
Ed is also wearing his goggles and a pair of earbuds/headset in it.

I just hope I'm not completely mistaken about flash being it's origins. But it only makes sense
because it just kept looping over and over.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)03:25:58 No.3271505

It sounds like a scene from the show when she's hacking. It's a very common .gif, it may be a
youtube video you saw which used it as the backdrop. I'll keep going with this for a bit before
trying that angle, but if you wanna get a start on it, go ahead.

  Reposting details.

  Radical Edward
  Cowboy Bebop
  >Activity depicted

The hacking bit may help. Among fans of the show, it's her primary defining characteristic. Music
style likely to be paired would be 8bit or other digital-heavy types.

Might this be it? You might have been onto something with the "flash isn't the source" thing.

don't you mean Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV?

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)03:33:59 No.3271509

I didn't expect the full name to be so prevalent, lol. Also, there's a screensaver that emulated
her hacking system on deviantart if you're interested (although noone uses screensavers anymore).

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)03:35:48 No.3271510

is the background of that scene dirt brown?

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)03:40:37 No.3271512

In the scene depicted, Ed's on the left and partially tilts her cranium in the direction she
moves her head. On the right, Spike is looking over at her. The music in question is a sort of
mellow (maybe slowed down singing) vaporwave-esk beat. I'm currently searching through music
channels I'm subbed to that may have posted it.

Jesus ok so this is a slowed down version of the original song Sismic Music - It Can't Come

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)04:27:07 No.3271523

I'm intending to make a flash which has the intro intact but when it reaches the fadeout will
loop back to a seamless point near the beginning, creating an infinite song with the animation
with an intro on startup. Flash must be much more complex than I've realized, it feels like
everything I try must be wrong. If I ever figure it out, I'll post it.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)04:50:44 No.3271529

  Do it, anon.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:12:35 No.3271533

I was able to make a version of it seamless ENOUGH, but this is literally my first ever flash,
and it's not nearly as fancy as I'd like. About to post it in reply to this post. It'll be good
for zoning out to. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:20:01 No.3271535

hope you're not using mp3, anon

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:22:45 No.3271536

Wh-what would make you think that?

....HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING: What should I use?

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:24:06 No.3271537

mp3 is currently my only option.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:40:28 No.3271540

wav as a separate stream. That means the flv should be mute and have no audio stream because the
audio gets faster so it ends sooner than tha video.
Then in the library you right click the wav, hit properties and compress as mp3 and set the
bitrate and quality to the best possible option

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:43:13 No.3271541

and also the wav should have 44.1kHz sample rate

why you shouldn't use mp3 is because it leaveas a half second gap between loops, that is because
mp3 contains useless garbage like ID3 tags and such

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)06:47:10 No.3271543

Sorry, man, I'm just some basic bitch that used a video editor that I barely know how to use in
order to musclefuck it into a .swf format. It's a YouTube rip that I got as an .mp4 specifically
to do so and I cut frames off the end to try and smooth it out, I don't have the audio and video
separated at all. I appreciate the tips and I can see about trying to do it correctly soon, but I
know so little about flash that it's not even funny. I uploaded my attempt at >>3271539 which was
made with VSDC Free Video Editor.

  >seamless ENOUGH
no such thing, either it is, or it isn't.
Take your time getting good with an audio editor.
  Same with Flash.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)10:09:24 No.3271577

are you sure it's not this one you are thinking about?

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)10:11:25 No.3271578

oh you already found it... and it's not a flash...

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)10:14:30 No.3271582

worth mentioning is that you should use a WAV for the loop but export it as mp3 audio inside the
flash. or else you inflate the file size with a lot that's not needed because flash removes mp3
gaps (they use a offset to only read the audio stream when it starts and ends in the mp3, so the
  gaps are never played)

Why is this one of the most replied threads that I've seen in the past few months? If OP would've
used common sense and checked /wsg/ he'd find out it's a really common webm and would've gotten
sauce within a single reply. This is why /f/ is dying.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/11/17(Fri)11:45:34 No.3271597

  >If OP would've used common sense
that was a good one, anon.
But seriously threads like this aren't that uncommon and I'm happy to help when someone requests
something according to flash. And if you cared enough to read the whole thread you'd realize it's
  not just about finding sauce.
