>> [_] Anon 3428208 ah, i figured it out by breaking it again. i think it has to do with my graphics card (i've got Geforce RTX 2060). i put on a program in the background that rendered 3D graphics, which caused flash to flicker white sometimes in firefox. then after taking firefox fullscreen flash became black with only sound. after closing the 3D program and closing and starting firefox again the flashes rendered properly once again. so mystery solved. i'm still willing to bet there's probably something that firefox is doing that is causing the 3D program to interfere with flash in the browser, maybe some kind of sandboxing going on that just stops trying to render if things are too slow?

With proprietary NVIDIA driers 1650 super, when I play flash files in Projector. When I resize the window every x pixel, it will create a parallel copy of itself by x pixels with only red green or blue rendering. Although annoying sometimes it's fun to have RGB disco parties on my desktop.

Several times now it's started acting up at random, crashing the whole graphics driver when it does. Resetting Firefox and reinstalling Flash made no difference, but so far updating graphics drivers to the latest version has fixed it each time. I think whatever changes Microsoft is making to Win10 needs to be unfucked by the drivers.
