This SWF has characteristics that make it tricky to play outside the browser!

For the past few months i have been looking into getting something to run plugins like flash,
Using code from a module called Mozilla Plugin Panel!

This flash needs some sort of response from the browser to play so i cant run this in the
  projector
  https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Archive/Plugins
  http://colonelpanic.net/2009/03/building-a-firefox-plugin-part-one/

Any ideas on how to get this working?

>> [_] Anonymous 01/29/18(Mon)15:46:36 No.3311842

The browser will give you the "Unauthenticated Content" message
"You have requested a page that only partially encrypted and does not prevent eavesdropping"

This flash sends a command that triggers some response, if such a response is not received the
  play button will not work!

  FlashPla.Exe says
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
  at MosesPreloader/txtHolderListener()
  Flash32.Ocx via TSTCON32.EXE says
  00_Shockwave_Flash_Object: On Ready state (newState=3)
  00_Shockwave_Flash_Object: On Ready state (newState=4)

i am trying to find a way to use NPSWF32.dll but i aim to get full compatibility with existing
  flash.

  Any ideas guys?

open in JPEXS and delete the script called ET

>> [_] Anonymous 01/29/18(Mon)17:38:24 No.3311865

  >>3311864
nvm scratch that, there's no ET script

Recompiling/Patching the SWF is a last resort option.
i want to preserve certain features such as ones used in multiplayer flash games.
internet features are postponed until we get this control working.

  using this
  https://sourceforge.net/projects/mozpluginpanel/
only heavily modified version that has the "Play" and "Loop" fixed.

finding solutions to tricky flashes will help iron out compatibility issues

Doing that alone will break other things, but that's the base idea.

its been an ongoing project and ive been asking around trying to get suggestions and information,
  http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3033557&p=14767199
i even hired somebody because the project is taking a long time.

anyway i gotta go to work soon so this page is gonna 404 before i get back
if anybody thinks of something after then repose this with your suggestion and i might find it
  here
  http://archive.4plebs.org/f/search/image/YPaVUzy9CG6mQvmZP0fKkA/

The end goal is to continue to use flash(and other plugins) but do so in a separate app to the
  browser.

after i have this i can add security features and tools to make it compatible with computers in
  the future.

also to archive and run more complicated flashes using multiple files, Like those awesome sites
  Oddcast made!

There's not even an ET when I decompile with JPEXS, in fact when I decompile, I literally can't
find anything doing that outbound. When I run it local in firefox, I don't get any outbounds. It
only happens when I play it here.

Ohho, clever girl. There's two swf inside this swf.

Some flash simply does not work with it!

i was referring to the projector when i said FlashPla.Exe

For me, the standalone provided by Adobe works fine for everything.
Download the most recent archive from: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/ar
  chived-flash-player-versions.html#FlashPlayerarchives
then extract the "sa" version and use it.

>> [_] Anonymous 01/29/18(Mon)21:59:49 No.3311930

Anything that needs to be run from a particular URL will not fare well in a projector.
  >>3311924
Can you set the URL flash retrieved with Action script:
  LC.domain
When you play a flash in the browser its actually being stored in your browser cache,

But LC.domain does not get File://C/?/Cache/Example.swf
instead it checks what url the browser downloaded the SWF from.
  https://www.Example.com/Example.swf

this doesn't just cause an issue with site locked flashes but also flashes that need to download
other files kept in the same directory.

Furthermore if you control the plugin the same way a browser does you can intercept urls and
  redirect them.

I dunno what problems you're having OP, works fine offline for me. Tried in both Adobe Flash
Player 27 and Media Player Classic (which requires the ActiveX flash version to be installed in
your computer, I think Adobe might still call that one "flash for internet explorer"). I'm on
  Windows 7 64-bit.

I REALLY hope someone figures out a way to run flash in browsers after 2020 though. Maybe it's
possible to make a HTML5-player that takes a swf file as input with JavaScript?

>> [_] Anonymous 01/29/18(Mon)22:41:22 No.3311943

I'm fairly new to this shit and have been decompiling flashes and messing with them just to get a
better understanding of how they work. I noticed JPEXS seems to break custom context menus for
some reason, anyone know if there is way to avoid this?
