Here's a lighter version of what to me seemed like a heavy roux based Japanese curry.
It's based on a few diff recipes that varied between chicken and pork for the protein.
I liked it, and it was pretty easy to do so I hope it works out for some of you hungry /f/rens.

Been feeling really fuzzy... like I'm about to get sick with that head all foggy feel...
The flu is pretty nasty this year so lets hope it's just a simple cold.
So..tell me about the worst illness you've had /f/rendos
  Or best hospital story.

  Lets blarg poast

Had a friend who was pregnant and paranoid she was going to die of constipation and took her to
the ER. A couple other ladies were waiting and one of them was clearly OD'd on something.

Doc said friend was fine, pretty normal symptoms, just drink tons of laxative stuff and all would
be well. She seems to be doing fine and is due in a month or two.

Nothing ever life threatening but I had a flu that made my lymph nodes swell really badly one
year. Headaches, dizziness, fever symptoms, and my armpits had giant lumps. Doctor prescribed me
pain killers and lots of bed rest.

I one time had a fever, sore throat, and body cramps so bad I was crying and beginning to wonder
if I was going to die.

Powered through it with some DayQuil and tons of hot lemon-honey water and raw garlic, and was
basically okay after ward. But I was hocking up lots of phlegm for the next two weeks and dealt
with what I thought was scarred lungs for months before I was basically normal again.

Try my recipe for good health /f/ren:

-1/2 to 1 lemon's worth of freshly squeezed lemon juice (reduce or add quantities to taste)
  - 2-3 tbsp honey (reduce or add quantities to
  taste)
  - (optional) 1 tsp freshly shaved ginger root shavings

-8-12 oz. hot water (adjust quantity for taste/strength preference)

Microwave in microwave-safe mug of water for 2 minutes with ginger inside. Add honey and lemon.
Deeply breathe in the steam vapors. Sip slowly.

If you can stomach it, also chew raw garlic cloves, or chop them into small pieces and consume
  them as you can.

Honey and raw garlic act as expectorants; they'll help you cough up any flegm collecting in your
lungs. The honey will also coat your throat and aid somewhat with the pain.

Both honey and fresh raw garlic also have natural antibacterial properties, although I guess it
might not matter if you're dealing with a viral infection.

  Pls get well soon <3

you actually did it, you bastard. youre seriously the best :v! im making this on friday, ill have
to let you know how it turns out! sorry you feel sick though. eat a lot of oranges and get plenty
of vitamins in so it doesnt last too long. luckily i havent been sick yet.

i dont actually have any hospital stories other than the one i said in your last blogpost thread,
and my immune system is that of a gods so i never get sick. i spent a lot of time in the hospital
with my mom when she had the cancers. ive been pretty lucky in that aspect.

there was a time, a couple of years ago when i woke up and went to work, but when i got there
everyone told me the whole left side of my face was swollen to hell. i didnt even realize it, i
thought i was just puffy eyed from sleeping too much. ended up going to immediate care to check
it out and it turned out that i had a sinus infection. who knew your sinuses could make your
forehead puff up like a pastry?

Part of my early memory is having pertussis.
In hindsight it wasn't all that serious but I remember constant fucking coughing, having a throat
so incredibly dry and not being able to swallow food. Eventually it just felt like my whole
esophagus would just fall out. Also it fucked with my epiglottis so even today I can't burp on
  command, can't do it.

I had my tensils removed when I was 6. I still remember it as if it was yesterday. The 6 years
old me sitting in a medical chair and 4-5 doctors all looking down my throat.

that one time when my lung collapsed to half its size was fun
I stayed like a week in the hospital and they told me I was ok
like 2 weeks later I go for a checkup and eoops you're not ok
I went home and to another hospital the next day cuz that same day was premiere of one of the
hobbit movies and I really wanted to go
I had surgery the next day and my lungs are ok now so that ended well
