Probably uncompressed pixel graphics that have large dimensions (1 pixel = several actual pixels).
The correct way of doing it would be using uncompressed pixel graphics where 1 pixel is actually
just 1 pixel and then you scale the images up inside the flash.
Either that or uncompressed audio? Should be 128kbps MP3 at most.

You are on the right track; still not quite right.
It's the background sound that goes for 10 minutes, simply as that.
Back then I didn't bother cutting and afterwards looping it :/
