Once or twice a year it occurs to me that Megatokyo is still going. A weeb comic with shitty
artwork and a shitty story, that updates maybe one page every few months since its inception in
the year 2000, is still going. There's still people buying merchandise. In 2014 some 5,000 people
funded a $300,000 Kickstarter for a visual novel that was never made.

It's actually quite interesting to not run adblock just to see what kind of companies do
advertise here and with what kinds of ads. For example now I can see an ad for a some kind of a
cryptocurrency (?) casino with some trump memes.
Don't get me wrong, it's total garbage but you kinda still start to wonder what kinds of people
