Also, this is quite a good animation, but it was made using Miku Miku Dance (I can tell from
having animated stuff using those same exact 3D models) which is stupid-easy to use, so anyone
  could have made it.

>> [_] Anonymous 02/08/10(Mon)00:34 No.1177552

was this rendered on a fucking N64?

No, it was made using the freeware program called Miku Miku Dance:
  http://www.geocities.jp/higuchuu4/index_e.htm
  It's shitty-looking because it's freeware.
MMD is software made specifically for making Hatsune Miku music videos. I shit you not. You can
use it for other stuff, but most of this application's functions revolve around the Vocaloid
models (especially Miku) and how you can manipulate them to make it look like they're singing and
  dancing.

My question was, of course, rhetorical but thanks for the info none the less.

  1. Here's the video source: http://mov.zoome.jp/mov23/diary/9476/68709_16_m1_1.mp4
  2. Don't base your opinion solely on the video.
Yes, you can easily spot mistakes like the video stream being captured at a insanely low
resolution without any antialiasing, but I think the atmosphere fits well with what happens in
the song. And the song is great in my opinion.
  3. As for the N64 question, making new meshes and textures isn't as easy, especially if you're
new to this you can't expect too much.
  4. Post more Miku for Miku Monday. Hail Miku!

>> [_] ButtercupSaiyan !zYWrhqMVos 02/08/10(Mon)01:29 No.1177616

  Catchy.

>> [_] ButtercupSaiyan !zYWrhqMVos 02/08/10(Mon)01:31 No.1177619

  2 thumbs up

>> [_] Anonymous 02/08/10(Mon)01:47 No.1177635

  Another thing...
You guys might want to watch the subtitled version too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZzI4Jz1O0s

The lyrics are part of what makes this so appealing to me; it let's you understand that the
song's mood, lyrics, video, everything is thought through in a way to tell you a little story.
It's just quite the contrast to some other videos where she's just attention whoring, acting emo
and singing some incomprehensible shit real fast.

But anyway, thanks to OP and everyone else who keeps Miku Monday alive.
