But I've been reported plenty of times on this forum by members that claim they've reported me
but I never been banned from reports, as a matter of fact, I've only been officially banned from
4chan once due to not including images in the threads I created on 4chan which was years ago, but
I've also had my fair share of a ban meant for someone else.

In theory, reporting lets the mods know about rule-breaking content so they can delete it and ban
whoever posts it.
In practice, unless it's hardcore child porn, the mods don't give a fuck and (practically) never
delete anything. Someone saying they reported your post is just a low-effort way for them to try
and intimidate posters they don't like.
