Computers are programmed to do what it's told, so all you need is someone to program it to their "best interests" (i.e. government) and then you're back to square one. Back to the drawing board for you. >> [_] Anonymous 02/16/10(Tue)05:15 No.1185059 >>1185057 no no no, the whole idea of zeitgeist is the removal of government for the good of the people, so no one group could have control over the computer systems. everyone puts in information at a steady speed, and as AI advances it will (hopefully) recognise lies and deliberate the truth. obviously, since there would be no military, the computer could not kill or take control of the human race in any way. the computer systems for each problem would be seperated in everything save information transfer, so any catastrophies would be as localised as possible. the idea makes sense if you watch the whole movie. >> [_] Anonymous 02/16/10(Tue)05:26 No.1185061 >>1185059 "everyone puts in information" That's the problem, human control the information... and as the same with capitalism... as long as there is one human who want more than another human, there will be problems... Besides, if this zeitgeist movement was a success in succeeding the human race in power... what would the human race be?... "drones" "batteries".......... something akin to the matrix maybe? hmmmm >> [_] Anonymous 02/16/10(Tue)05:39 No.1185067 >>1180561 the humans are still in control of the computers, we have the killswitch, we program them and we build the first ones. in a resource based economy there would be no incentive to try and take control of the computer systems, as you would gain no power by doing so, and you would have no way of controlling anyone else. human error is something that will never be eliminated, regardless of how much mahine control there is. the zeitgiest movement is not trying to "put a computer in charge of the world" or something - watch addendum and the activist orientation guide and it whould make more sense to you. i'm not quite sure what you mean by "succeeding the human race in power." the idea here is to destroy centralised power, not move it >> [_] Anonymous 02/16/10(Tue)05:56 No.1185076 >>118057 remember what edmund burke said: "liberty must be limited in order to be possessed" by giving people maximum liberty, you are protecting them from the evils of government, debt, etc. whatever your arguments against this, you can't say it isn't better than our current system |
