The games are generally boring and repetitive.
The only things that are good about touhou are things that aren't made by ZUN.

I didn't imply that at all.
ZUN made some crappy, tedious shooting games and populated them with enjoyable, creative
characters.
Even ZUN knows this. Why do you think he gets pissed at the idea of touhou fandom being exposed
to people who haven't played the games? He knows his games are weaker than their characters.
