The main dev (Fen) really likes to play games, especially new released ones (Most recent example being Mass Effect Andromeda). He then goes whining on his website that things are slowing down and he's feeling bad, he gets sick 10 times a year for 2 weeks a time each and personal/family issues more often in a year than soap series in their entire run. Most of the work is being done by others, such as actually typing the smut, while he's still responsible of processing it into the game. (Hence the slowdown) Of course people wondered what the fuck was going on, and promises were made last year that _this_ year, they would definitely speed things up. Yeah, seriously.
