"kamehameha" is a Hawaiian king. I guess the jap names fit better in my mind as it's a martial arts anime. I will say, Piccolo got the worst of it though, as his signature move sounds like a space ship attack in english or a mouthful in jap I would have gone with "demonic spear" based on it's functionality.
