  One of the few cases where the origianl is much worse than the dub when it comes to voices.

  If only we could have DB/Z/S/ with the english voices but a somehow 1:1 perfect translation or at
  least better than "Ally to good, nightmare to you" and "Destructo disc".

  The better question is why mexicans defend their dub (better translation than ENG admittedly)
  which had a bad case of same voice.
  It all sounded like one guy doing a bad impersonation of a tough guy and then using that for
  everyone.

  I can't really critique a language that I don't speak but I prefer maybe 2 or 3 voices in
  japanese than english based on some of the english voices having really shitty actors, while
  still overall liking the english dub more.

  honestly, a lot of the english attacks are ok with me, it's just destructo disc that sounds lame.
  But hey, dumb names for attacks are the norm even in the original
  I.E. "kamehameha" is a Hawaiian king.
  I guess the jap names fit better in my mind as it's a martial arts anime.

  I will say, Piccolo got the worst of it though, as his signature move sounds like a space ship
  attack in english or a mouthful in jap
  I would have gone with "demonic spear" based on it's functionality.
