The empty stares of men about to do horrible things. Unspoken intent, no emotion, no remorse.
Everyone knows what is about to happen, there is no doubt. There is a serenity in that moment,
the calm before the storm, silence save for the frantic rustlings of a woman with no options left
to her. none of them move, none of them act, they all wait, wait for another of them to make the
first move. They aren't at fault, they are just going with the flow, it'd be a shame not to take
advantage when everyone else is having fun, what's one more in the mix? The girl moves, too
sharply, too suddenly, enough to drive them to stop her, to grab her, dragging her from the cart.
Time, which had been moving so slowly just a moment before accelerates to a maddening pace.
everything tears away, her sanity, her clothes. Things were never going to be the same again. She
held her breath, everything was perfect now.
