As with any code, one needs a solid foundation in OOP fundamentals, the rest is cake. The worst thing to watch for in AS3 is the bubbling model for events, they behave a bit differently than other OO languages; also be very aware of creating and destroying event handlers, ALWAYS make sure to explicitly destroy Event Handlers after use, since weak handling is the default, and is not explicitly garbage-collected (leading to memory leaks and lag). Strong handling can be specified though. Glad you found preloader infos to be helpful. Play more with it, and be sure to check your work in the Flash application's embedded test projector; it has bandwidth profiling (unlike the standalone projectors), so you can set a data speed, and watch the results as if you were downloading from the web. This allows you to debug/refine your preloader before publishing and discovering the preloader doesn't work as expected :^) >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)06:49:17 No.3379386 >>3379274 Still 512x288, did you not learned anything? Just use effective codec for A/V. Also use interlaced video effect for loader. >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)12:30:11 No.3379415 >>3379386 it's On2VP6 flv what more do you want? filesize is nearly max (due to mp3 cutting under 10mb) - I'd rather up the bitrate a bit, resolution doesn't matter that much when you open it in fullscreen like you always should interlaced is a nice idea, but for 2 seconds of screentime, not really worth it imo >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)13:48:23 No.3379421 Does this Cutie Honey AMV have a name? >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)16:18:33 No.3379434 This is really good... cheers to whoever made it, its saved in the archive >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)16:23:46 No.3379437 >>3379415 If you wanted to sync the audio with the video you could add a bumper to the end of the video with source info, like who made it, what song, anime, etc. >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)16:54:51 No.3379444 >>3379421 eyegasmhigh.swf? pretty sure OP mixed the audio and video themselves. >> [_] Anonymous 02/02/19(Sat)20:16:38 No.3379468 >>3379415 FLV should contain both video and audio. Use a studio-grade editor, for example Sony Vegas (or any other editor with similar capabilities) to master the a/v loop. RENDER it as MP4 with AAC/AVC codecs. NOW... get it into Adobe Media Encoder (which you should have if you're using Flash, it's included in CSx) From there, you can fiddle the width/height, and work down the bitrates and rendering depth to fit your target size, finally rendering it as FLV (On2VP6 is your only choice for FLV!). NOW you have a SFW-ready object to drop in the timeline. You should have ZERO issues with sync at that point. Of course, remember to master your a/v loop at exactly the framerate you intend to use in Flash, and your a/v object will simply drop in the timeline and play correctly. The biggest hurdle is learning to calculate the best bitrate/render depth to render in FLV, it can be tricky to get it right the first time, but if you're close, you're only 1, 2, maybe 3 renders away from hitting it perfectly. |
