It's like that robert frost poem. Nothing gold can ever stay
Implying /f/ was ever gold...
but still, we had a good time with it. a decade and a half is a great run. And sure it's sad but
it was great while it lasted.

Does anyone else get an old eerie feeling that this video represents their own death when flash
goes? Think about it. Everything across the entire planet is going to shit, from global problems
that we're facing as well as the potential collapse of society. We're facing a doom /f/ellas.

This will be teh very last flash ever played on f/f when it finally coughs it's last.
We had a great run; nothing but GIF specification and Usenet has outlasted Flash.

It's shite, it's like WINE for Linux, but 10x less workable.

Yeah, keep dreaming linuxfag.
You cannot duplicate Windoze.
Just like HTML5 cannot duplicate Flash.
>> [_] Anonymous 01/27/19(Sun)04:15:42 No.3378595
I doubt much will change, the people on here already had to jump though a couple hoops to be able
to view flash.
On Firefox 64 my flash was running pretty shitty, changing the sandbox level down to 1 helped.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
dom.ipc.plugins.sandbox-level.flash = 1

anyone got a download link to a standalone flash player?
i'm worried that i'll forget or keep putting it off until it's too late.
I have MPC which plays flashes OK but it's shit for flash games.

I'm not using linux, just keep in mind there are a lot of *nix OS, FreeBSD for example.
And there's native, NET if you need some extreme niche software.
W.I.N.E. is just windows API and not "Windows duplicate", thing which you're probably looking for
is ReactOS.
And yes, HTML5 cannot duplicate Flash because it's slow and not well implemented and not work
everywhere where's can technically run, almost of all problems because of JS.
And this is one of the reason why WASM is exist.
