Not quite. Most of the light reflected inside of a raindrop leaves after being reflected once, but some of it will be reflected multiple times before exiting. Each of those reflections produces a different rainbow, with diminishing brightness. Generally only the first, and second order rainbows are bright enough to be visible. There's a nice diagram here: https://www.atoptics.co.uk/rainbows/orders.htm Here's a paper from 2011 where someone managed to photograph a fourth order rainbow: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/170f/5255cca87681278775e7b1eb90001293347e.pdf >> [_] Anonymous 06/05/20(Fri)14:02:21 No.3430411 F >> [_] Anonymous 06/05/20(Fri)15:17:10 No.3430418 How he ded? >> [_] Anonymous 06/05/20(Fri)18:04:52 No.3430436 >>3430346 i hadn't heard that, how did he die? he'll join the ranks of billy mays, trololol guy and that faggot who died in a car crash >> [_] Anonymous 06/05/20(Fri)18:11:57 No.3430438 >>3430436 >>3430418 Family hasn't come out to confirm cause of death, the popular theory appears to be he died of a heart attack. He must have scheduled a bunch of videos to be posted several weeks into the future. Kind of spooky. Also his video set on his Home tab is him sitting topless in the dark, moaning and listening to some guy talking about his cream. It'll stay like that forever. >> [_] Anonymous 06/06/20(Sat)06:13:20 No.3430492 >>3430445 It's funny how people can be self-isolating hermits who take pride in leading a self sufficient life away from capitalistic and societal bullshit and then marvel over the fact that some coorporate shitlords put a name tag of his one-time viral technologic video sensation, through the power of bored individuals on the internet, on a random generic meeting room in some office building with hundreds of them. Every man on earth is just a faulty being really. Well, at least he got his wish granted. >> [_] Anonymous 06/06/20(Sat)06:39:53 No.3430494 College. Double Rainbow dude made them years pretty good. |
