lulz, there's a whole website dedicated to this stuff
https://joebiden.info/
trump is the one joking about doing these type of things but joe is the one that actually does it.
can you imagine joe as the president? access to the nukes? i mean how sad is it that this is the
best the democrats have to offer? not even his creepiness that's the biggest problem (he grew up
in a different time after all) but it's his obvious signs of dementia:
https://youtu.be/9kYRRvUM2mo (compilation, forgetting obama's name. ignore annoying bg music)
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/03/14/nolte-joe-biden-forgets-year-meanders-
off-frame-in-disastrous-livestream/ (scroll down and jump to 35:50. he wanders off-screen and
just blathers on)
https://youtu.be/aA-GoeFGyIc?t=232 (more clips)
https://nitter.net/winningatmylife/status/1250994723717816320 (looks down in notes, can't
remember what he's looking for, stutters something. the two other guys look like they can't
believe they are talking to him.)
it's funny but more sad than funny. meanwhile trump can talk for hours, cracking jokes. even
those that don't like him wants to hear him speak. they should just let biden rest these final
years of his life and not force him to be the puppet. i don't think he wants to run himself.
maybe the plan is to last minute swap Joe with somebody else and everybody just votes for him out
of relief

trump's not without gaffs either of course ("the oranges of the investigation") but joe is
absolutely 900 times worse

can you imagine being 77 years old and having to get up every morning to hit the campaign trail
and just talk bullshit to the crowd, and answer bullshit questions from reporters about all
manner of crap? it whitens the hair of a young man, and it must completely fry the brain of
someone Biden's age. it's almost a cruel thing to do to yourself, especially after already
spending 8 stressful years as VP.
I don't know why people rally around these old farts; you never know if they're going to drop
dead or go loony. Trump and Sanders both have stamina which I think is a good image even if
they're ancient. But Biden looks like he's going to turn into a sack of bones at any moment.

77 years old and he STILL gets to rub cute jbs...

i really don't think it's up to him whether to run or not, the inner democrat circle has decided
it to be and biden must comply of face the consequences. the actual strategy is to play on
nostalgia, to gather votes from people that just "remember" how "good" it was when obama was
president.
that's why they are trying to make joe's appearances as few as possible because they know the
more they show him the higher chance it is they are losing voters that will vote against Trump
rather than for Biden.

I fucking hate joe biden and I'm sick of the un-democratic party. Their only game plan is "do
what the republican's did last election" but they do it worse and the pick the wrong thing to
immitate.
like having their front runner be a sex offender, or having a clown car primary, hey lets have
bloomberg in the race too! a millionaire like trump, voters like that right?
my only vote is for a bloody socialist revolution where all corporacrats against personal
freedoms (like Joe) will see the guillotine

Hillary isn't that much better than Joe, let's not forget that she collapsed several times during
her campaign. She wouldn't be suitable as president either.
I can just imagine how much Putin or everybody else would run over Hillary or Joe. Hillary would
probably overreact to something and start a war with a country actually capable of killing people
inside USA.
Still, the theory that they want to elect Joe and then just pick whatever vice president they
really want as president is not far fetched. Joe doesn't have many year left on this Earth, he
knows it himself.

They just want anyone who isn't Sanders, Biden simply looked like the strongest alternative early
on because he hadn't yet had time to completely embarrass himself.

This thread is nice. I'm glad that election discussion is remaining civil and light hearted in
here for the time being. Let's hope it doesn't get to the shitflinging and flooding levels it did
last time around

Why is it always "gotta pick the lesser of two evils" these days? What happened when it was about
"well I'm voting for my candidate because he stands for the principles I believe our country
needs to get back to, and I think he'd be a more competent leader than the other candidate!" Has
it ever been like that? Was Bush vs. Gore in 2000 this bad? I don't remember it being as much of
a shitshow as these past few elections have been.

You'd probably have to go back to before everyone owned a television set (maybe -- elections had
really vicious mudslinging before then too). Television makes a fool out of everyone. Nixon
looked like a gaunt crypt-keeper during the first televised debate because he didn't want to
dress up for the camera, and his popularity withered literally overnight even though on paper he
seemed a more qualified candidate. Reagan's popularity went up when he said he was "paying for
this microphone, Mr. Green" and Howard Dean's support plummeted when he yelled into the
microphone -- both lasted less than five seconds, neither had any political meaning, but they
were televised as sound bites and people responded to them much more.
Today you can see everyone's momentary fuck ups and laugh at them, either the off-the-cuff Trump
gaffes or the Biden dementia, but back in 1944 people voted for FDR a fourth time because they
didn't know he looked like living death. It's nice to know whether your future president has a
functioning body or not, but at the same time people end up focusing on all the stupid little
day-to-day things that don't mean anything.
