So, the embed player is just not working anymore. Sure I still can download the flash file to my
computer and play it from there, but is there any way to play embed files here? Or did the
killswitch really killed flash?

Flash will still expire on 12th of January 2021. Test it yourself by setting the clock forward to
the 13th.
The only way to use Flash past the 12th of January 2021 is to install an older version
(32.0.0.363 or earlier) or patch it with a hex editor:

pepflashplayer32_32_0_0_###.dll (PPAPI: Chrome/Chromium/360/Edge version)
OCX files are write-protected so you will need to rename and copy, or take ownership of them as
required.
