I don't know if /f/ is going away next year
but in the case that it doesn't,
do any of you know of a good alternative?
I like coming here so any suggestion is appreciated.

Mods will probably implement Ruffle by then, although it's still in beta and most flashes aren't
supported yet.
Pale Moon or Basilisk won't drop flashplugin support, but Adobe said that there is a killswitch
that will make the plugin stop working after the 12th of January.
If all else fails set your browser to open swf files automatically in the projector.

Adobe does have a killscreen for flash, but you can A) install an older version that doesn't and
B) there is a way to set exceptions to work in a settings file, it's work-intense and buggy, but
that way flash support never really goes away
in the end they didn't off companies still entirely dependend on flash and just made it so the
regular user will never bother to try to still use flash
but a true /f/riend is no regular user to be sure

Because they are still entirely dependent on it.

it's like this, if a company has developed a system with flash there's a cost associated with
rebuilding that system without flash. maybe whoever built that system isn't even with the company
anymore. then it's much better to just whitelist the flashes needed and do business as usual.
