4.3 Gigabytes. I lost 4 point 3 gigabytes. Better men have lost 10 times as much and gotten over
it. I have seen terabytes go up in flames and nothing. Why does losing such a small number of
files so crushing ? it was only 10k images, i see that many in a week. all of the files were
either porn or dumb images that made me exhale is amusement, i had already moved all the .swf,
.gifs, .webm, and anything over 3 megabytes, so nothing of value was lost. yet it hurts so

I can understand perfectly. The other day I lost half an hour searching for this:

It's not even that amazing or even old but it still got stuck in my mind and I'd be sad if I lost
it, let alone a 10 thousand like it.

I back up my 4chan folder every month. Some of the images in there are over 10 years old. I'd be
