I'm one of those "piece the worldbuilding puzzle together" kind of audience members, and it basically did the Lost thing where it tossed out chekovs guns like confetti, and looked like it was leading up to one big culmination, but never bothered to fire any of them so it feels anticlimactic. Also, some of the writing at the very end feels out of character for certain characters, and especially in the non-canon prologues. Speaking of, I've not yet got a chance to start Homestuck^2, which is what comes after/reconciles the Meat/Candy split prologue(s). >>3446843 >>3446844 speaking of games there's also Friendsim, also a thing I haven't touched. Hell, I backed the kickstarter for hiveswap and still have never even installed it. >> [_] Anonymous 11/22/20(Sun)22:27:55 No.3446865 >>3446864 I'll agree with you about the writing towards the end sorta meanders and go to unnecessary places. the character honestly lost a lot of their charm towards the end which was disappointing, at least it was towards the end and it didn't take up too much of the story. also, i was reading vast error (i also feel it has a few stronger writers behind it than hussie was) and they seemed to have included their own take on it: >There's only so much "connect the plot points" and "tell, don't show" the average schmuck can |
