nice job, OP
I got somewhere around after the first intermission once and haven't had the courage to pick it
up again yet

yeah, I was burning through it, like a few hundred pages a day, because I wanted to watch the
flashes as they were supposed to be seen before flash kicks the bucket. you should probably get
on it too before it's too late.

was it worth it?

id say it was, it wasn't that time-consuming and it was pretty comfy overall. also, I'm finally
noticing the shit ton of references to it that are littered around

I believe it's called hiveswap
actually I have no idea if those two are even related

they are but hiveswap's a game and not a webcomic

I mean, Problem Sleuth is a must, even for the people that can't commit to the monolith that is
homestuck.

NTAYRT I have some complaints. I'm one of those "piece the worldbuilding puzzle together" kind of
audience members, and it basically did the Lost thing where it tossed out chekovs guns like
confetti, and looked like it was leading up to one big culmination, but never bothered to fire
any of them so it feels anticlimactic. Also, some of the writing at the very end feels out of
character for certain characters, and especially in the non-canon prologues.
Speaking of, I've not yet got a chance to start Homestuck^2, which is what comes after/reconciles
the Meat/Candy split prologue(s).

>>3446844
speaking of games there's also Friendsim, also a thing I haven't touched. Hell, I backed the
kickstarter for hiveswap and still have never even installed it.

I'll agree with you about the writing towards the end sorta meanders and go to unnecessary
places. the character honestly lost a lot of their charm towards the end which was disappointing,
at least it was towards the end and it didn't take up too much of the story. also, i was reading
vast error (i also feel it has a few stronger writers behind it than hussie was) and they seemed
to have included their own take on it:
>There's only so much "connect the plot points" and "tell, don't show" the average schmuck can
take! I think I've held out on interjecting long enough that it's obvious we've got a while
before this thing's head is forcibly removed from the premises of its own ass.
>Remember, everyone: if it sucks, you can always find something that sucks way less. Or in this
case, the something that doesn't suck will come and find you — but the point is, don't settle for
second rate when I can give you what you've actually wanted to see this whole time!
>Let's just say it like it is.
>Taking a story that's meant to run the gauntlet between intrigue and comedy and turning it into
yet another existentialist coming of age woe-fest isn't... ideal.
of course, I may be reading into it a bit too much but it seems far too on the nose to not be a
critic of the latter part of homestuck.

lets see, ah thats right
wrong jack died, John deserved better and honestly as much as there is to say about what became
of homestuck those are the greatest offenses
