This is one of the many reasons I'll never use Spyware10. Windows 7 for life.

  >inb4 hur dur outdated gonna get viruses etc.

He's right though. Just think when they force you to update to get rid of flash.

Yeah, this has been a pretty big concern of mine. So...what are our options as far as Flash goes?

>> [_] Anonymous 08/19/20(Wed)13:29:42 No.3437014

Can't you avoid this by just editing a text file and keeping it unsaved in the background?

Semi-related, a few weeks back I got a system update on my old 7.0 android phone after 3 years of
  nothing
that fucking bitch is 600MBs large and the notes say something about integrating Google security
patches and the VoLTE feature for vodafone for a better calling experience but only for the
fucking netherlands users. And if that wasn't enough it always asks me if I want to update every
  time I connect to wifi.
So, anons, always go with the golden rule "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I don't think a whole operating system works similar to a fucking chrome

I had a windows update cause an error to my computer where it wouldn't allow windows to boot up.
I ended up getting a new hard drive because the only other option I had was to delete everything
off the new one and reinstall windows. I have a Sata cable now so I can pull date off my old hard
  drive.

next time make sure you have this thing called liveCD which is a bootable CD/usb with linux that
can access all your files and back them up in case windows shits itself like in your scenario
