  For example Omicron is being hyped up even though the death rate for it is basically one person
  in the whole world, and the transmissibility of Omicron is only 4/10 while it was 8/10 for Delta.
  A virus typically mutates to be less and less dangerous so it can survive longer since its host
  survives longer. And that vaccine everybody have been taking is for a variant that is already
  extinct.

  Interesting. I wonder if it's evolutionarily possible for virus to become neutral, or even
  symbiotic so the host won't try to get rid of it. Seems like a good survival tactic, but there
  must be a reason against it because i never heard of something like that.

  I guess I worded it like they had some kind of mind that developed a tactic but it's not like a
  virus really has any intelligence for that to happen. It's just that the virus type that do
  mutate to become less harmful will be the one that remains in the end due to natural selection.
