Experiences like the one you describe are fictional to me. There were no kids my age in the
neighborhood, and at school no one liked me, so I didn't like them in turn.
But it's good you were able to have a full childhood. Thanks for the new flashes. /f/ needs them.

It is so easy for me to forget that some people got a happy childhood. Or live a happy life. I
always assume it was hard for everyone and they simply do not talk about it because of the
"silence rule". Good for you, OP.

Its less to do with what you had as childhood on a whole, and more to cherish the good aspects of
what you had.
These are only some of the good things I had, there were many, many dark moments as well.
Some of these moments were born out of the very same good moments that I cherish. I am still
grateful to have experienced them regardless.
I think people tend to focus on the bad stuff a lot more, and don't do justice to the good stuff
enough. I just want to remind you to do that.

I had a good childhood.
I had very few friends and used to sperg out in the near a small forest.
One time we were throwing rocks at each other for fun and one of them dodged my throw, it
shattered someone's window and we ran out into in the wilderness like madmen.
We used to steal fruits and vegetables from a neighbor's garden just to throw it at trees or high
up in the air, too.

I had nearly all of this for like a decade before I had to move countries because of my parents
situation, after which i just kinda started... slowly falling out of being the active young kid
and turned into a "stay-at-home" kinda guy. But I guess my friends did turn into those guys too,
so mayby the fault is in this place, not me.
