  using the pale moon browser and then clicking the links (instead of the embed) icon will run them
  as usual. linux or not

  PaleMoon didn't work for me very well, but then I stumbled across this browser and it works quite
  fine. It's just a bit slow sometimes. Feel free to give it a try.
