[_] Anon 3415215 newfag here. why does this look like ass unless zoomed way in? it's a vector and everything Marked for deletion (old).
>> [_] Anon 3415218 the outline is not being drawn properly. properly to thin
>> [_] Anon 3415221 either make the flash larger or add some thicker lines where they "disappear".
>> [_] Anon 3415224 wasn't this just posted the other day I'm pretty sure a vectorized version already exists http://swfchan.com/46/229971/?caramellda nsen.swf
>> [_] Anon 3415226 >># that one isn't vectorized. i know the flash you're thinking of but it's ALSO not vectorized. the one you're thinking of starts by drawing the first frame in vectors but when they move it is no longer vectors. if you right-click and zoom in you can see whether a flash is actually vectors or not OP's flash is the first time I've actually seen them fully vectorized! nice work OP, it looks good, must have taken quite a bit of work. did you do everything by hand or did you use some kind of tool? kinda expected the filesize to be even smaller but i guess the audio is in great quality (looks like vectorised is an acceptable spelling of vectorized, just used less often)
>> [_] Anon 3415228 >># also what this guy is saying is if you make the flash too small the black lines are disappearing maybe it could be solved by repeating the vectors twice on top of each other with the repeated lines having "hairline" thickness so they are always 1 px regardless of size. that way it looks good in both big resolution (where the normal thickness lines are on top of the hairline vectors) and in small resolution when the normal sized lines get thinner than 1 px. however that adds filesize, it's probably possible to detect dimensions with actionscript and loop through the vectors to change thickness between hairline/normal dynamically depending on resolution. BUT that sounds like a lot of work...
>> [_] Anon 3415231 >># yeah, i posted that, then got pissed off it was just PNGs and made it vectors >># i used vectormagic, it's why it's so annoying to fix problems, like how some lines arent actually connected to eachother. >># >># >># thanks, i'll re-vectorise it with smaller source files. the vectors are massive here because i did it in 1440p
>> [_] Anon 3415269 >># >vectormagic.com that's cool! too bad it's not freeware, is there a free alternative?
>> [_] Anon 3415271 tried vectormagic.com's online conversion and they require you to make an account to actually download the results but they only tell you that AFTER everything is done and you press the download button, i hate when websites does sneaky shit like that
>> [_] Anon 3415291 >># >># just pirate the desktop version, it's on TPB
>> [_] Anon 3415295 The problem with lines in this case probably can't be fixed. Just as I suspected, the outlines are not proper flash "line", but instead a "fill" that mimics a line. A vecorizing tool can't be that smart to know where to use actual lines, so they use fills only. Flash internally makes sure that lines are always visible at any zoom level, but since our lines are fills, this is not the case. As for manually adding flash lines instead, I don't think there is acceptable easy way of doing it.
