It do be like that sometimes.

So you have to click the objects in a certain order (sometimes the articles of clothing are
included in the list) depending on a theme. For example from largest to smallest, from lightest
to heaviest, from coldest to hottest, etc. Sometimes it's just a short game of simon says and you
have to remember the sequence the objects light up in. And on every stage, you get 4 tries before
it's game over.
However, without being able to read the theme, it's pure guesswork. I've managed to clear 4 or 5
levels on some characters.

After playing some more, I've discovered some additional information.
"Continue" lets you continue from the last stage you lost at with every character. Immensely
helpful. At first I was starting anew every time I got a game over.
The themes also get a lot more complex at the higher stages. Many I had to blindly navigate
through by simply trying all possible permutations. Very time consuming. Some, I was able to
guess through context.
These are from the first character: One was "animals in the Chinese zodiac in order" and another
one was "hosts of the football world cup in anti-chronological order, starting with 2014 Brazil".
Neither of those I would have been able to solve without Wikipedia.
In the end, my patience held long enough to clear four characters.
And was any of it worth it? Absolutely not.
Notably, there is a lot of fish rape in this game.
