  In firefox, when you download a file, you can just choose to open it directly and essentially
  does what the first poster said. It's just one more click compared to clicking on Embed

  when I'm watching a flash in a new tab it makes me feel like I'm watching it with all of you,
  while watching it with a projector outside of the web browser feels like I'm watching it alone in
  a different room

  Enjoy your cluttered temp files folder, missing preloader animations and web functionality and
  not having tabs. I've been there. Projector is inferior to plugin. Always has been. It's a
  bandaid for offline viewing at best. Still better than ruffle tho.
