I'm trying to make a VERY simple "escape-room" game inspired on it. I've never tried to make a game like this, so I don't even know if I can do it. I do have the essential things, script wise. Very simple, you click something, get an item, getting the item activates something else, and that's it. I should be able to make it, I hope. The idea is that the whole walled square playground is like a giant board game build for the enjoyment of an "ONI" demon who watches behind the walls, (He's a giant). So he looks at you trying to do the shit necessary to get out of there. I don't know how to call the "game" yet. About blocking the "Tab function", I wouldn't know how to do that, but I don't think it matters that much. In this case there won't be hidden buttons puzzles (maybe yes, lol) but mostly, it will be about a sequence of events like getting 'this' to unlock 'that', just simple "storytelling" via triggering events. Maybe someone remembers a swf to point to? 1st way is the olden way. I guess flash highlights "buttons" with tab, and they were used almost exclusively during AS2 and still a lot during AS3 era. The impossible quiz f.e. made it so that if you press tab you just instantly die, so it makes it pretty much useless. Other games had you use the mouse in a specific way to not get hit by other elements so tabbing didn't help you enough to cheat your way in. 2nd way is more modern where people use I assume some AS3 to make event listeners that do something with your mouseclicks. But they don't put any actual fixed button elements in there. It exaggerates the general proportions of a female to a degree where it loses the ability to appreciate the nuanced curves or dainty parts of the female body, this combines with his muscularity in certain areas gives a tits on man impression. That said, as loops some of them have been ok when it seems befitting to a more nonserious/silly (not sure on the right word) aesthetic, for instance his passive bounciness animation, exaggerated tit size and faces fit well enough into the carwash one. The warrior girl versus the vine/tentacle monster is another example of one that I thought was decent for this reason. And considering the intentionally ridiculous nature of the thing which he is parodying here, it's not out of place here, it may even become his magnum opus. The statue is already better than most. Giant overlooker, dacing sumo girls, a purple demon girl summoned by a loli mermaid, beantits sprouting out the ground, harpy girl in tree, whether or not all of these are adapted it has more than enough to work with. Speaking of, how do you intend to do the giant, more specifically? I already have an overall plan, though. But I can use your ideas too, I want all the ideas that I can get. LoL There you have a quick animation, frame by frame. I did it because it's sunday, but, I just prove to myself the problem with frame by frame animations, even doing 4 frames, (the least amount possible), it takes a lot of time and energy. I could have done a whole new update with all that time and energy used for that animation alone. Even when I did it super quick, it leaves you drained out. So I don't know. Maybe I can use frame by frame animations in especial occasions. There you have the giant oni, he just stares, I'll place him closer to the wall in other backgrounds. About the body shapes, It all depends, I mostly do this stuff in a shitposting mood, I just want to do something funny. Maybe I can try something "almost" normal with this one. Ideally what's best should be a mix between that and tweening. But I believe that even that is hard work on it's know, preparing the animation and thinking what you can get away with not doing a new frame for.
