I don't think it's so much "Religion isn't hip" as it is people getting the wrong impression.
They think Christian and imagine some bastard on a street corner with a bull horn condemning
people to hell unless they repent. Organizations like God Hates Fags spreading messages of
complete intolerance and the like.
The world treats religion like Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation treats video games: finds a few bad
parts of the whole and condemns the entire lot.

One thing I've learned in life is that people who share their religion with you generally don't
want you to share your beliefs with them, so I can kind of understand where you are coming from.
People who are in a religion, however, see it differently. Those who do not subscribe to whatever
the religions demands for salvation are are destined for an eternity of suffering. This is true
for Christians, Muslims, Jews and pretty much any religion with concepts of "sin" and "hell." To
you, they are pushing their beliefs. To us, we're trying to save your life.

it's a quote from a mediocre Christian band. Nevertheless, it's the impetus to action for this
cartoon. She was attractive and thus picky, giving the main man inspiration to tap into his
potential and present his resources to Ellie. They may or may not have married and copulated
before he died, but most likely, he did have some great sex and lots of children if he indeed was

Switchfoot is pretty scattered musically. They've made little contribution to the progress of
music, and pretty much skim off various alternative artists. Sure, they're catchy and pretty, but
catchy hardly constitutes great. Lady Fucking Gaga is catchy. Ricky Martin was catchy. Catchy can
be horrible for the ears of the average American, since catchy is a lazy way of listening to
music. Great albums are few and far between, and transcend catchy. Switchfoot has definitely not
accomplished a great album. A better name for the album should be The Superficially Pretty
Letdown.
